I read a review recently and the standout sound bite read ‘A Force of Nature’, which I thought a brilliant metaphor for the character of Mildred Hayes. I wanted this image to reflect this sentiment in the wide open feel of the image, with the billboards standing out and Chief Willoughby and Officer Dixon featuring small in the space with Mildred the dominant force of nature, a storm in the brewing.
